Independent reading book 12/21 Blood Trinity

   I decided that my independent reading book was going to be Blood Trinity by Sherrilyn Kenyon and Dianna Love. Blood Trinity is a fantasy about a supernatural race called the Beladors who are part of a group called viper. Viper is a group of supernatural beings and deities dedicated to protecting the human race from demons.Beladors also sware to always report any dangers to the human race to viper. But, there's only one problem, a Belador mixed with another species and created an Alterant, a Belador half-breed.
   Alterants are seen as threats beacuse of their ability to change into a beast. If an Alterant shifts then he or she faces imprisonment or death. Beladors are powerful and have different ranges in what powers they have. The most common powers are: telepathy, kinetics, and energy shots. But, the reason Beladors are so strong is that they can link with each other however, linking requires absolute trust.
   The story follows one alterant named Evalle who has no memory of her parents and the only family she had was a distant aunt. The story starts off two years before the rest of the plot in Utah where Evalle had herd the call of a Belador. The call turned out to be a trap and she and two other Beladors were captured. The kidnapers turned out to be Melb, a rival of the Beladors. Evalle and the other two Beladors, Quin and Tzader, have no choice but to link to fight their way out of their imprisonment. An unexpected twist is that Quin knows one of the Melb quite well.
   When the three of them get out of their restraints they fight the group of Melb. During the battle Tzader is seriosly wounded and near death. Quin uses one of his unique powers on the melb he knows, named Kizara, the power, mind lock, can synchronize his brain waves with anothers and this allows him to control them but, he has to concentate. The only remaining Melb is to strong for Evale to hadle alone. She has no choice, she has to shift. Once she shifts and kills the last Melb she shifts back and pulls the spear out of Tzader, who can now heal himself. The party the leaves but, when they get out side the dun is up and Evalle cannot be in sunlight because it burns her skin. The group escapes and heads back to Atlanta were they all live.
